G3SJJ
Spent the first 20 minutes S&P yielding a neat 34 Qs, then as I tuned back down the band found a clear spot on 3524 and stayed there the rest of the time, although interspersing 2nd RX S&P. Static was a steady s9 throughout.
Having a suffered a painful mosquito bite on my keying hand during the night and then been to the funeral of the late G3IGW today, I can't say I was all that motivated, although I had decided that I would dedicate this effort to the memory of Mike. In the past he had been a keen LF band contester and DXer, contributing to the understanding of greyline propagation.
Usual setup - FT1kMP, 100w to a dipole at 17m.

G3SWH
HAD TO CLOSE EARLY BUT
A GOOD RUN

G3SXW
10w only = QRP
75 Q's less 1 dup = 74

G3TBK
Rather noisy tonight
Will have to find something else to do at night next month!
Could the next series run from October to April?

G3TXF
Enjoyed the seventh and last CW Contest of the series
Looking forward to next year's. They are just like mini-AFS's!

G3UFY
RIG - FT817, 5W output
ANTENNA - Marconi with 34' vertical, 90' top
Band very noisy with heavy QRN later. Surprised to work as
many as I did. Like many others, I suspect, I'm looking
forward to the start of the next series!

G3VIP
RIG FT301S + FL110 100W ANT 40M LONG WIRE

G3WRR
RIG - FT1000
ANTENNAS - 50ft longwire @ 15ft
Enjoyable, but not a serious effort on my part.
No ATU and a 5:1 SWR ensured this was the case!

G3YEC
Last one for this year been a nice little set.
Still have stations in contests not listening before
they call on YOUR frequency. I could hear the weak guy
two stations obviously could not !!

G3YHV
VERY SLOW GOING THIS EVENING, NOT SURE WHY ?

G4EOF
Things seemed very slow tonight.

G4FKA
Final session so hoped for good things and lots of QRS corral.
However hob nob doublet had other ideas. SWR all over the place.
Back into garden and discovered windings coming off tubes.
Lots of red sticky tape saved the day!

G4LPD
FT920 & DIPOLE

G4OGB
The band seemed noisier for this session

G4RLS
SUPER CONTEST, ENJOYED VERY MUCH.
TS850S, 80M LOADED DIPOLE

G4SLE

Must buy a cw narrow filter!

M0CMQ
Condx quite good here in north east London.

M0MDF
Great contest - let them continue !

GW0ETF
Just getting the hang of it after a couple of tries...
will try to get a full year in next time!

Hope this series of contests will continue

G0GDU/P
Found the going tough with less than 10W into a 40/80m vertical with high SWR
Tried to calling CQ but got only one taker and kept losing frequency to much stronger stations
Stuck to search and pounce

G0OKF
Conditions OK

G0RAF
AN ENJOYABLE EVENT
TIME WELL SPENT

G0RKT
Enjoyed the contest

G0TPH
A poor effort - I was completely contested out after VHF NFD.

G0UHM
Most people don't respond at the speed they receive

G0VDZ
where did the time go good fun look forward to next year

G3CWI
Enthusiasm is now flagging.

G3GLL
band rather noisy otherwise conditions not bad

G3HKO
Noise level high. Changed G5RV for 80m dipole
made no difference. New location next year perhaps.
Many thanks to all.

G3HRH
A bit slower than usual
Some QRN
At least one station below 3520
A pump-handle key and pencil log slows the rate
Thanks to those who QRS the serial number

G3IZD
Band good later noisy. I think AFS should also be
100W limit the band would be so much more
usable

G3KKQ
Conditions not so good and activity down hence lower
score. CQ s did not work so well so had to H & P most
of the time.
Good Contest and look forward to same next year.

G3KUM
Heavy QRN first half improved later.
Thanks to all for being patient.
My first year at contesting.

G3LDI
Available QSO's seemed to dry up by 2100z. Guess
a lot of people are on holiday.

G3LIK
Good conditions and nice to meet familiar calls

G3NKS
At last I managed to start on time and do the full
90 minutes. Great fun. Same again next year please.

G3OLB
Transceiver IC706 MKIIG
Antenna - End fed half wave sloper
First of these contests I have entered,
Just as much fun as the old Cumulative Activity contests.

G3ORY
Poor start - suffering from VHF NFD hangover?

G3RIR
static crash on rx-ing his call caused G3TXF to shout NO NO
as I sent TKF to him -- sorry

G3RSD
Electrical storm noise and fading signals otherwise
enjoyable

G3SET
For the first time I picked a spot and stayed on it
Thanks

G3YMC
Activity seemed rather down this session, and towards the end it was hard to find stations I had not worked before. Conditions seemed a bit down as well. Hopefully next year we will get some interest from other club members, certainly as a club we have done remarkably well but it seems hard to get some of our members actually on the air! 73 Dave

G3ZBE
Changed the antenna and seem to be getting better
results or is it wishfull thinking?
Band seemed fairly busy but a lot less qrm than the SSB
legs!

G3ZGC
Lots of new stations appeared for this contest.
An enjoyable evening but a very high background noise level.

G3ZRJ
Glad to have a reasonable attendance for the last
of these CW sessions. Most of the regulars on the
band but no chance for a real great score
Thanks again for organising these Contests
they are a real stimulus to operating from Clubs

G4ARN/P
band conditions not too bad but needs ideas
to encourage more contestants (club members)
to take part

G4DBW
elecraft k2 5 watts output G5RV at 20feet agl
Best QSO count yet - hit 60 for first time HI!
Sat on freq and run for 1hr 10min -changed to S&P QSO rate picked up
Should have gone to S&P earlier !

G4DDX
Have not been able to decode morse and type into the
computer at the same time. Usually had to use paper
first. These contests have helped me to do this
though I have to call CQ slowly with the hope a call
comes back slowly! Good contest. Lots of QRN.GU0SUP
Found the band noisy for this one, which made it a little harder
than previous months, but it was still enjoyable.

GW4ALG
I've enjoyed all of the sessions
and hope that the event can be run again
next year. The only change I'd like to see to the format
of the event would be the addition of a QRP section.
Rig: Homemade transceiver
Power: 5W RF output
Antenna: Inverted V Doublet

M0BPQ
New radio with better filters and wow what a difference! I worked the first 7 people with only
20mW as the rig was still set up to drive a tvtr for VHF FD. Congrats to those who heard me!
Lost a few minutes due to a computer crash
