G3YMC
Another fun evening! As summer approaches we are seeing the seasonal changes in this contest, this time static was beginning to show its head though not too severe. Plenty of stations, but also plenty of quiet spotsto call on and a few regulars were missing.
Just extended my longwire and I think it is working better than the old 60ft.
73 Dave

G3ZBU
This contest is an ideal way to test different
antennae. Tried a new one this time but very
disappointed by S7 noise in 500Hz B/W on rx
and I didn't seem to get out very well. Seems to be
wideband noise on 80m rather than timebase QRM

G3ZRJ
Many fewer stations tonight no unusual prop condx
to speak of
Was worried about my QSO rate until quite late on when
worked some "Big Guns" with similar totals

G4BUO
Activity seemed a little lower, and after a good start I couldn't
quite make it to the 100 QSO mark

G4DDX
VERY QRN VERY ENJOYABLE AS USUAL

G4EOF
Had to take two hours annual leave for this one now
got to return to work till 3am....do i get a
certificate for dedication?
excellent again just needed a few more stations on
to practice the pileup for Field Day!

G4FKA
First CW entry in these sessions.
IC-706 Mk IIG and funny shaped short doublet at 20 feet.
Quite a challenge for the ears and brain with no narrow filter!

G4FPH
Static bad throughout event

GW4ALG
Great fun. I'm very pleased with the performance of CT for DOS,
and I'm getting better at handling pile-ups after CQ calls.
Rig: Homemade transceiver
Power: 5W RF output
Antenna: Inverted V Doublet
For a picture of my little homemade rig see:

M0BPQ
Major equipment problems at start of contest lost me the first hour.
But use of the second radio pulled me through. It was fun being
popular in the last 30 mins though!

SOAPBOX:

G0AOJ
Great contest and all went well

G0GDU/P
10W BARELY ENOUGH TO BE HEARD WHEN COMPETING WITH QRO STATIONS
MUST TRY TO GET DIPOLE RESONANT IN BAND

G0MRH
Didn't seem to be so many on-air
or conditions were down
Lost time with computer logging problem

G0MTN
Tried to enter pub quiz via SMS at same time as
contest. Didn't work too well. Also found had
volume up too high on 2nd VFO.. kept missing
easy callers whilst CQ'ing. Must do better....

G0OKF
Good Conditions

G0RKT
my first CW contest time went quickly

G0VYR
Very noisy indeed in the QRS section

G3CWI
Quieter - is everyone getting tired?

G3GLL
CONDITIONS NOT SO GOOD TONIGHT
LOTS OF FUNNY NOISES!

G3HRH/P
Very hard going with elderly rig and poor antenna. Many
strong signals heard but not worked. Grateful for loan
of station by local amateur.

G3JJZ
RIG - TS940 100W
ANTENNAS - 85' LW

G3JRM
SUPER CONTEST, ENJOYED VERY MUCH.
TS850S, 80M DOUBLET UP 50FT

G3KKQ
12 Down on last QRP entry. CQs didn't yield so well
No problems with QRM. When H&P most replied with 1 Call

G3KNU
First CW contest for about two years nice to be back.
Conditions very good no complaints.
This CC Championship is the best contest HFCC have come
up with. Nice to hear many new (new to me) callsigns
Looks good for the future.

G3KUM
IT WOULD BE NICE IF THE FAST OPERATORS SENT THE SERIAL
NUMBER TWICE

G3LIK
Visitors delayed my start, good conditions

G3NFB
Missed the last session. Good to be back

G3RIR
Seemed to be less stations active

G3SET
Excellent conditions, pity about the jammer which came
up over 10KHz around 3562 at abt 2120UT

G3TKF
At least 4 stations were convinced they had worked me before.... when WILL people notice there IS a differnece between G3TKF and G3TXF !!??

G3UFY
RIG - FT1000MP - 100W
ANTENNAS - Marconi

G3VIP
RIG FT301S + FL110 100W ANT 50M LONG WIRE

G3VQO
could have done better but was monitoring Brighton &
Hove Albion in play-off - missed final 15 minutes
entirely 'cos it went to penalties !!!!

G3WVG
TS930S 100W TO DIPOLE AT 60FEET

G3WYW
Lots of activity this time. Nice to see European
callsigns as well. 100W & G5RV getting out to Europe so
stn seems to be working OK but computer problems in last half
hour so finshed using paper log and hand key. Contigency
planning worked!! Roll on the next one.

G3XTT
FT-897 Inv-Vee dipole at 45ft

G3YEC
Seemed a bit more "steady" tonight. Less frantic
calling and more patience - or is it mainly me !!!
Still very nice way to spend late evening and just
the right length.

G4GZB/P
VERY NOISY LOCATION NEAR A POWER STATION

G4SLE
nice to hear so many on again

G5FZ
FT 920, 80m dipole, 100watts

GU0SUP
Where was everyone? The band was in good shape, but there seemed to be far fewer opes than in past months.

GW0ETF
First attempt. Came across it by 'accident' and jumped
in for a taster.- very enjoyable and seems a good
format.

GW3KDB
FT1000MP. Dipole at 45 ft. 100 watts.
Unusual to work 3 GU stations. Band very noisy, I guess it's
just summer conditions.

YL3DX
IC-746PRO 100W DIPOLE
