G4ARN/P
1/ I heard at least 1 station calling "cq contest"
2 minutes after contest had finished also the very
common practice of reserving a frequency before start
time of contest is definitely not in the spirit of the
contest, Organisers please take note of these items

G4BGW
Very noisy!

G4BUO
Got off to a good start but was difficult to maintain

G4DBL
RSGB 80m Champ SSB 16 April 2005

G4DBX
FT1000MP MK5 field and Inverted V dipole.

G4EZT
Good conditions and activity but severe powerline QRN and deep QSB !!
Excellent contest series- has encouraged me to put up new antennas
and get sound card voicekeyer working.

G4FKA
Very good conditions. Lots of stations but just not radiating well enough!

G4LRP
Hard work with QRP but great fun.. Some jamming from DL

G4RCD
Horrendous QRN throughout. REALLY hard work!

G4SLE
used sd agn tks Paul

G4VTO
Could only manage an half a hour this time

G6BOX
Lots of stations this session. Excellent fun.

G6FOP
Lots of jamming, best score yet

G6FSP
very busy shame I had to go to work
could do with the contest to run at local time rather
than utc

G7HCL
Better conditions this time

G7TWC
1ST ENTRY IN HF CC. TEMP ANTENNA STRUNG UP FOR THE THE EVENING. GOOD FUN.

G7VRK
Found band full lots of staions to work
Will have to get filters for the radio

G8FMJ/P
super conditions and no local qrm for a change

G8VHI
I would like contest to start 1 hour ealier as I have
a 03:45 alarm call. Only operated for 1 hour S&P.

G8YMW
PLENTY OF ACTIVITY AND QRM

GU0IDA
Enjoyed first time on this contest

GU0SUP
This SSB is such hard work, especially from this far south!

SOAPBOX:

2E0ATY
not as good as last month but made the hundreds

2E0CAX
My frist try of this contest, it was great! Really good fun.
I used my home station: SGC SG-2020 set to 10W out, feeding
a 42m off-centre fed dipole up 5m.
Please note that some operators still use C&DARC's old name
"Cambridge and District Amateur Radio Society". It is the
same club.

2E0FRZ
10Watts

2E0KOP
very noisy and some jamming

2E1GUA
Good fun in working all
Thanks to all for working me

2U0GSY
Reasonable conditions tonight for a change

G0AOJ
SEEMS TO BE A LOT OF BAD PRACTICES
THINK MORE USING HIGHER POWER THAN 100 WATTS

G0DAY
Great conditions- good turnout

G0EUN
THE CONDITIONS WERE QUITE GOOD AND AGAIN I ENJOYED
THE CONTEST EXPERIENCE.

G0EYR/P
Conditions much better this evening

G0JLF
An earlier meeting went on...so 45 minutes late :-(
Conditions seemed good with high activity
noise levels seemed lower than the last event.

G0KYS
It's all about finding a frequency and I didn't!
I thought I had but someone asked me to move who was
2kHz away and I decided not to argue. Finally got
a frequency 10 mins before the end.
The band just isn't big enough!

G0MTN
Sheesshhh... Hung on to frequency for dear life but
far too much adjacent channel QRM. Different strategy
required for next month...!

G0OKF
Better than earlier this year.

G0RAF
A GOOD CONTEST
TWO DUPES IN LOG

G0UIQ
icom 775 g5rv

G0VDZ
tried a different logger.
worst thing I did

G3HRH
Good conditions and very busy
QRZ without a callsign is unhelpful

G3JJZ
RIG - TS940S 100W
ANTENNAS - 85' LW

G3KNU
Too many stations not enough room.

G3LHJ
Found it very hard going this time - lots of
activity = lots of QRMM not so good for us little guns
but enjoyable.

G3LIK
Too many high powered stations giving QRM and too many
stations giving 59 yet want a rpeat about ten times
about time it was restricted to 100 watts

G3NPF
Wall to wall QRM as usual but good fun anyway
Much more enjoyable than the data section and my
CW is so bad that I don't even bother

G3NVO
Excellent conditions for a change!!

G3PDH
Its getting very crowded out there!
Some people still exchanging numbers up to 1.5 mins
after end of contest!

G3PYC
Did not have SD for contest but used it post test
I am still getting used to using it
An idiots guide would be most helpfull

G3TKF
Best so far inspite of qrn/qrm

G3TXF
What's S&P? ....just stuck to one frequency for the entire 90 mins!
Great to see the level of activity in these 80m 'micro contests'
getting even greater. Nice to see so much activity from Guernsey too!

G3UFY
RIG - FT1000MP
ANTENNAS - Vertical Loop
Data is different, CW is fun, this mode is just b****y hard work!

G3VIP
RIG FT301S 10W - ANTENNA 40M LW
BEST EFFORT ON SSB

G3VQO
SSB contest, or Juventus v Liverpool on TV ???
no real decision to make !!! Still well done Liverpool
and I made it for the second half of the contest

G3WRR
RIG - TenTec Orion
ANTENNAS - Inverted L, 50ft top @ 20ft
First time out with brand new TenTec Orion
Haven't got all the SSB settings right yet...
Conditions more favourable to Europe than UK

G3WVG
100W TS930 DIPOLE@60ft

G3WYW
Computer failure 2 mins before start so logged by
hand! It was fun logging by hand, checking dupes etc. just
like NFD 30 yrs ago but affects the rate!!

G3WZT
What a din !! Getting very well supported now and more like AFS wall of QRM.
Hardly a space to be found, but much quieter towards the end.

G3XSV
My best so far in the QRP section.
Good Condx... very crowded !

G3YAJ
Condx better

G3YEC
These 80M contests are fine. But dear o dear the noise
tonight was terrible. In all of them you do well if
you can find a spot and call CQ - Roll on CW !!!!!

G3ZGC
Loaded dipole at about 30 ft
Had my frequency taken by G3TKF. Why?
.

M0AEU
Very busy on the band - good signals
look forward to the next one!

M0BPQ
What a racket! Difficult with 10W, but my best total to date in this
contest. 10W to an Inverted L from an IC-756Pro

M0CES
busy bands

M0CMQ
QRN and I need a better aerial!

M0GHZ
Good fun but hampered by a 30 minute period of
deliberate jamming.

M0SCG/P
SD great as always. Condx not too good after
time change

M0VIE
great fun good band conditions
sdlog great for this contest

M1GRY/P
What a difference an aerial makes!

M1KAH
Too much QRM from the kitchen gave in before divorce

M3LIB
Had better results this time enjoyed it!

M3RCV
Conditions seemed very good. Here's to May!

M3TBK
Very good condx, often had to tell a station to stand by as there were so many calling.
Well done to the RSGB for getting so many people interested!

MM0DQQ
Band very noisy towards the end but able to work everybody I called

GW4BLE
Think there are 2 dupes here - gross (159), net (157) ?
