Adjudicator's report.
After the increased entry for the November 2005 1.8MHz
contest, the entry for this one was slightly reduced
compared with last year.
64 logs and 6 check logs were received, all
except one by e-mail.
In Section A (UK) the top three scores are within
100 points of each other. The leader and winner of the
Somerset Trophy, Clive Penna, GM3POI with 1050 was 75
points ahead of runner-up Don Beattie, G3BJ and 94 ahead
of Fraser Robertson, G4BJM.
Several past entrants appeared in the logs but we
were not favoured by their logs which is a great shame.
Section B (Overseas) was won, not for the first
time, by Gedas Lucinskas, LY3BA with an error-free log.
Runner-up is Roland Milker DL2OM and third Le
Gall Sebastien F8DBF, also with an error-free log. Thank you all for taking part, I hope you enjoyed
the contest and hope to receive your logs for the 2nd
contest on 18 November 2006.
Sid Will, GM4SID
