G4OGB Condx good at start, became very noisy with QRN
G6FOP IC-7400
10w W3DZZ dipole. Lots of activity. Data on hfcc has become very
popular from the first ones. Nice to see some thought for a rule change
next year. Could not find any PSK sigs, RTTY seems far more popular.
Thanks to all who worked me
G7SKR Getting the hang of
DM780. RTTY busy, PSK31 quiet again here. IC-7400 50Watts. Low wire
dipole still @ 5m AGL but have acquired a pole to raise it for the next
contest, hopefully.
G7VRK MixW worked well as all ways lot of static on the band hard to decode
G8FCQ As ever great fun.
M0AAA I had to use the FT817 in the end as the FT1000 would not put out any power at times.
M0CNP Very strange conditions tonight with lots of static and noise. I was thankful of the good DSP and narrow filters in my radio. Thanks everybody for the points.
M0DDT Deliberate QRM and frequency encroachment!
M0MDF Not very good tonight
M0NKS bit of QRM near top end of band . not many on PSK though
M0PTR Started 4 mins before closing time, but my 4 QSOs in 3 mins will provide a few points.
MM0RKT Heard almost no strong signals. Only stations I got first shot were a PA and a GW!

SOAPBOX:
2E0CVN Only got on for a short amount of time! Was expecting a good run as I was fresh meat but, nothink!! Bring on CW!!!
G0DAY Hard work, lots of calling, but worth it in the end. All S&P.
G0KDS Not a good night antenna only 4m high
G0MTN Very quiet on PSK. I applaud the efforts made to shake this event up a little for next year.
G0OKF ICOM 756 Pro III + 17 mtr wire at 8M high via a SGC 230 tuner.
G0RAF Conditions were very good.
G3HRH Poor conditions with QRM, QSB. Had some macro problems Apologies to those stations that I messed up
G3IZD PSK
horrid, no responses but I am getting the hang of RTTY, having
taylored the macros.. my lack of RTTY skills precludes me from
answering comments from old friends.
G3LDI I was using
3585.6 and suffered QRM from a PSK station zero-beating with my Mark
freq, even when I moved slightly. Just wonder what 2009 is going to
bring!!
G3LHJ Still hard going - lots of activity - like the winter condx better..
G3PDH Gremlins
in the PC set up meant a late start then lots of heavy QRN causing
repeats. Apologies to those that received multiple QRZ's!
G3PHO I
don't seem to be able to hold a run for very long in this mode.
Conditions were not the best and there was reduced activity from the
PSK lads
G3RRL Good enjoyable contest.. good conditions, and plenty of stns
G3RXP Very high QRN level in the last half hour.
G3SVD A pleasent evening spent S&Ping!
G3TBK Very severe QRN towards the end as thunderstorm moved closer FT1000MP 100w Dipole at 60 feet. N1MM with MMTTY
G3TLH Usual hard going with QRP RTTY
G3VCA QRN was very heavy on the night using my 550ft delta loop, often had to give/ask for a repeat of the serial.
G3VIP RIG
IC7000 10W - 50M LW - Homebrew logger with MMTTY engine thanks to Mako
JE3HHT. First try with revamped logger, worked very well, best score on
rtty managed to hold a frequency for a change.
G3VQO More PSK than previous sessions, but had to keep "nudging" RTTY stations encroaching below 3583
G3YEC Got system running with help from G3YAJ. First effort on RTTY.
G3ZBU This
contest was nearly a disaster as the vox was tripping in and out
causing major problems. The audio settings on the pc had been changed
since the last data contest as I had been enjoying some Trivium ( Death
Metal ) on the PC!
G3ZGC Difficult at times. IC7700 10w to 132ft wire up 40 ft in 55 ft garden.
G3ZVW Lots of QRN at the start, replaced by lots of QRM at the finish.
G4EBK High noise level and QSB made it hard work this time.
G4FKA Replaced antenna feeder and equipment worked fine. However static noise and rapid fading made conditions poor.
G4GZB This is my first attempt at Data where I've had any measure of success. Previously have been be-devilled with Gremlins!
