This contest was one of fantastic weather and excellent sporadic E. Most stations were busy for the entire contest, some were even managing to sustain rates of around 90 QSOs per hour on Saturday afternoon and work DX throughout the night. There were however a few unfortunate stations that had to close down for short periods due to thunderstorms.
At the top of the Multi Operator section the total number of QSO and multipliers were close but the Northern Lights had a higher proportion of DX contacts to give them a clear victory. They beat the record score they set last year and retain the Telford Trophy.
Congratulations to Les M5LMG who wins the Single Operator Other section operating as GX3SRT/P and to Bryn G4DEZ who wins the Single Operator Fixed section and retains the Six Metre Cup as the highest scoring single operator entrant.
The winners of both the six hour sections chose to operate on the Saturday and both runners up operated on the Sunday, congratulations to Roger G4BVY and Geoff MM5AHO for their victories.
