3^rd 144MHz Backpackers Contest of 2006

Only 22 stations submitted an entry for this session of the 144 MHz Backpackers contest. Maybe VHF NFD had something to do with this? Activity was high with most entrants able to work continental DX.

In the 10W Multi-operator section the Wigan Douglas Valley ARS, G3BPK/P was the winner.

The 3W Multi-operator section was won by the Malvern Hills B team, GW4IDF/P.

The10W Single Operator section was won by Derek Gilbert, G0NFA/P with Tony Judge, G1ARU/P in second place.

The 3W Single Operator section was won by Tim Raven, G4ARI/P, with Steve Brown, M0SGB/P as the runner-up.

The leading Intermediate Station certificate was won by Dave Cutts, 2E0EBV/P.
