Hard going. Thanks to all that worked me.G0AOD/P First 2 hours great then a brick wall for last 2.G0VHF/P Useful opportunity to try out some new ideas & equipment for October.G0OIW/P Condx not brilliant - deep QSB and no DX, though I caught the brief opening to Holland. Met gent with three very intelligent children and nice dog :0)G3ATZ/P Low activity............hard work.........poor conditions........!!! Very quiet as lunch time got nearerG3DEZ More activity on Tuesday night UKAC contest!G3MEH Conditions above average, plenty of /P's about and some surprisingly good mainland European contacts but UK fixed stations seemed thin on the ground. No QSO's with GW, IO81, or BM or CV postcode areas, for instance.G3VEF/P Very quiet!G3YDY Conditions pretty flat. Only operating for last 1.75 Hours, when most seem to have given up.G3YJR A bit of a struggle!G4SIV Lots of QSB - no exceptional conditions. Destroyed masthead LNA in first few contacts & ran with one at radio for remainder. Must remember sequencing for LP. Normally "tied in" to PA!G4ZAP/P Flat / PoorG6GVI/P Early drizzle gave way to hazy sunshine. Mild and calm throughout. Missed out on G0VHF/P, but otherwise worked everyone I heard.G8HGN Hard going at times, but just enough activity to keep going.G8VHL/P Very enjoyable contest this year. The weather could not have been kinder! Better conditions would have been a bonus though; generally flat with slow QSB. Alfresco bacon butties (courtesy G0GLZ) a real treat!G8ZRE Enjoyable. Only 30 mtrs ASL. Good DX on 20w.GM4CXM Conditions poor at the start with front going through Scotland. Good signals heard in the last hour, but most had given up.GW4EVX/P Conditions pretty flat and usual level of activity.GW4HBK No MH, so very difficult. Had to wait for signals to Peak.M0MCG/P Equipment worked well. 88% of QSOs in first 2 hours! Quiet after all other entrants had been worked :-) Warm and sunny, though, which was a nice change.M0SGB/P Very hot and sunny. Kept being stung by wasps.M5ADF Good start. Quiet middle (noise for nearly an hour!). Picked up 15 mins before the end. PE1EWR No French stations to be heard, but loud signals from the "close by" Gs. |
